Rebel, Jack Russell Terrier

Rebel

Rebel is an energetic six year old male red and white wire-haired purebred Jack Russell Terrier.  He loves attention and the companionship of adults.  Although he has the usual Jack Russell energy, he’s also surprisingly cuddly and will happily curl-up on your lap for hours.

This little guy has a lot of personality and is quite sweet.  He’s looking for a quiet adult home preferably one that is experienced with terriers.  He knows basic commands but further positive reinforcement training would help him to relax and become more confident.

Rebel does not get along with cats although he has lived with another dog, careful matching would be required if another dog resides in the home.  He’s a bit of a barker and does like to jump - he is a Jack Russell after all.  In the right home, this pup would thrive nicely and be a very welcome companion.

Buddy, white and brown DSH

Buddy

Buddy showed-up on his owner’s porch four years ago and refused to leave until she let him in the house, and there he stayed making himself right at home.

Buddy is a "gentle giant" weighing in at 18+ pounds.  He is so sweet and mellow and a very handsome white and brown tiger DSH cat.  He’s approximately seven years old.  He’s healthy and has good hygiene habits.  He has, however tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).  A cat who tests positive for FIV can live long, normal lives and can also live with cats who test negative.  The primary mode of transmission is through bite wounds. Casual, non-aggressive contact does not appear to be an efficient route of spreading FIV; as a result, cats in households with stable social structures where housemates do not fight are at little risk for acquiring FIV infections.

Buddy lived happily with his owner and even when she went into an assisted living facility, Buddy remained with her and was quite the hit with everyone.  He had many well-deserved admirers.  Unfortunately, his owner is now in a convalescent home and can no longer keep Buddy.  He’s such a lovely companion kitty, anyone would be lucky to call him friend and family.
