Donate Supplies to Support the Animals
What We Are Currently Most in Need Of
To make the best use of our space and ensure items go directly to the animals, we prioritize the following unopened and clean supplies:
- Unopened, unexpired pet food
- Unopened cat litter
- Unexpired medications
- Unopened small animal bedding
- Unopened treats, bones, and chew toys
- Clean/gently used sheets and towels
- Potty pads
These items are consistently needed and can be put to use right away.
Items We Are Unable to Accept at This Time
Due to space, safety, and sanitation considerations, we are not able to accept:
- Open food/small animal bedding
- Expired medications
- Used litter boxes
- Crates/Carriers
- Household items such as mattresses, pillows, blankets, plates/bowls, placemats and tablecloths
Gently Used Items
We gladly accept gently used pet supplies. Items must be clean, minimally used or worn, and free of odors or damage.
- Collars, leashes, harnesses, and coats
- Pet beds
- Food and water bowls
- Cat scratching items (posts, pads, scratchers)
- Dog toys and balls
If you’re unsure whether an item is appropriate to donate, we’re always happy to help guide you.
Where These Items Can Make a Difference
At times, we may have an abundance of certain donations and not be unable to accept items we have taken in the past. In those cases, we recommend reaching out to your town’s municipal animal control shelter, which is often overlooked and frequently in need of supplies.
