Background Story:

Ash is a female Black Syrian Hamster that comes to us from a hamster rescue in Maine. The rescue heard about our grand opening of Suzanne’s Place, our first small animal cottage, and contacted us seeking assistance with placing seven hamsters. We welcomed a group of eight hamsters from the rescue in July of 2024, when Ash was about a year old.

During her time with us, we learned that Ash doesn’t mind being picked up, loves running on her wheel, and enjoys her free roam time exploring! She will also happily accept treats from her new friends at the Sanctuary!

Adoption Info:

Ash is a brave 1-year-old who enjoys her playtime. She will let you pick her up but prefers to be walking around and exploring outside her habitat. When you enter the room, she will beg to come out for supervised play! She also gets exercise running on her wheel. If you enjoy watching a hamster having fun, then Ash is your girl!
