Save the Home Program

Our Companions has designed our Save the Home Program to provide community members with affordable and comprehensive training and management plans for their beloved canine companions.

If you are experiencing severe behavioral concerns in the home and would like to learn if the Save the Home Program is right for you, please contact our Behavior Helpline.

What Does This Program Include?

The Save the Home Program begins with a complimentary behavioral evaluation and consult with a Certified Canine Behavior Consultant. Here, we will discuss your dog's behavioral and medical history and evaluate their behavior in a neutral environment. Together, we will outline your needs, set expectations, and design a behavior modification plan if applicable.

    • PLEASE NOTE: The initial behavioral evaluation and consult may be waived if you are a previous client of Our Companions or have already met with a certified veterinary behaviorist or canine behavior consult.

After the initial evaluation, we will pair you with one of our trainers based on experience and availability who will work with you on your training plan across three private sessions. These sessions may occur at the program center, in-home, or at another agreed-upon location relevant to the training plan.

All Our Companions Behavior Programs follow a Pay-What-You-Can System, where clients can adjust the price of classes based on what they are willing and able to pay. The suggested price for this program is $275 and includes three, one-hour private sessions.

Additional sessions can be scheduled as needed. If you are unsure of your eligibility for this program. Please contact us at 860-242-9999 or [email protected].
