Our staff were surprised one morning to find three young cats in a cage left outside on our Sanctuary’s property. It was quite tricky finding space unexpectedly, but our Sanctuary staff were quick on their feet to make sure these three were safe and sound. The unneutered boys were named Dunkin, Chai and Latte. Thankfully, it was a vet day at the Sanctuary and they were all examined and vetted that same day. They’re all three estimated to be around a year old in July of 2024. At first the boys all shared a room together, however, as they became more comfortable at our Sanctuary, the three boys started to have conflict amongst each other. Therefore, they were separated in different rooms and have been doing much better with their own space.

During Chai’s neuter surgery, the vets discovered that one of his testicles had not descended (a condition called Cryptorchidism). The vet had to perform a more involved surgery to find it, but it was thankfully a successful surgery. He had to wear his cone a little bit longer than his brothers did, but we’re glad he’s almost finished with his healing journey! Chai is loving his own space and all the attention from his friends! We love seeing his playful, cuddly personality!
