Bella

Bella is an 11 year old purebred Yorkshire terrier female who came to us because her original owner passed away, and Bella didn’t approve of living with the dogs in the family member’s home who tried to take her in. Unfortunately Bella developed Pancreatitis within a couple of days of arriving at the Sanctuary, and was hospitalized as they sought to treat that plus the increased kidney values her blood work showed. She was already being treated for Congestive Heart Failure, so balancing her treatment between the 3 ailments was tricky, but Bella proved to be a fighter and was released 4 days later.
