Bonnie and Clyde were found outside, and as you can see, they are clearly domestic rabbits! Pet rabbits can’t survive on their own outside, and these two were probably abandoned. Luckily, someone saw the two friends and contacted us to help them find a home! We welcomed Bonnie and Clyde to our Sanctuary in November 2024. Bonnie is a black female giant Flemish mix rabbit believed to be about 1.5yo. She needed to get spayed while in our care, and was distressed being away from Clyde! After her spay, the two were reunited and happier than ever! They are truly a bonded pair and love each other very much. They provide friendship and comfort to one another and will be adopted out together!

Bonnie is a character! She likes to move her food dish around when she feels it’s getting too empty to her liking. Both will run up to greet you and will happily climb all over your lap for treats! They are both a little nervous with a lot of petting but we feel they will do great in a home with patient people who can give them the love and attention they deserve, and can bond with them one-on-one! Well… two-on-two! Like many rabbits, they will do well in a calmer home with older kiddos/teens/adults. Bonnie and Clyde have also been very neat with the litterbox and would love a home where they can explore with some supervised free roaming!
