Background Story:
Charley Jr., along with Eddie Jr., Yin and Yang, previously lived in a home with several other chinchillas. Earlier in 2024, Our Companions had assisted with six of the chinchillas in the home through our Rehoming Program and had successfully found homes for all six. Now, with our small animal cottage open, the owners reached out again for assistance with four additional chinchillas. We welcomed Charley, Eddie, Yin, and Yang to our Sanctuary in July of 2024.
Charley was about a year and a half old when he first arrived to our Sanctuary. Though he was nervous and a bit hesitant, Charley slowly started to trust his new friends! He’s more outgoing than the four, loves to explore his room, and could take dust baths all day every day if he could! He started to become more comfortable with petting and enjoys when his friends come to visit! We hope to find a home for him where he can continue to shine!
Adoption Info:
Charley is a 1.5 year old chinchilla with lots of tricks and trouble up his tiny sleeves! He will thrive in a home with older children and/or adults who are willing to take the time to build trust with him. Once Charley gets to know you, his personality will shine!
