Daisy

9 year old Daisy came to us from owners who had divorced and were facing selling the family home and moving to housing that did not accept dogs. She had a long standing tumor on her leg that the owners were erroneously told was a benign lipoma. We decided to take Daisy into the Sanctuary so that we could do the medical treatments needed prior to offering her for adoption. When the surgery was done on the tumor our vet found that the surgery was much more complicated than she thought it would be. After sending it out for testing it was found that it was a Mast Cell tumor.
