Mighty Mitzi had bounced around a few homes during her 16-years. Her most recent pet guardian took Mitzi in when her owner (a friend) passed away, leaving Mitzi in need of a home. Unfortunately, the situation was unable to be permanent due to a move, and Our Companions was contacted to help Mitzi finally find a stable place to land. Mitzi was declawed at some point in life and was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. We are still getting to know Mitzi; she was described as shy, timid, and nervous in her last home and we are happy to get to know Mitzi with patience at her pace.
She was very frightened during her initial move to the Sanctuary, but as you can see from the photos now, she warmed up to her new friends quickly and is such a love bug! We look forward to helping her feel healthy, happy, and loved during her time with us! Welcome to the Sanctuary family, Mitzi!
