Our Companions Animal Rescue's
Valerie Friedman Program Center

Our Companions moved our “World Headquarters” to the Valerie Friedman Program Center, located in Manchester CT in 2012. This facility holds our staff offices, a training room where our dog classes are held, a multipurpose room for educational seminars and meetings and a cat adoption room.

Our Community Cat Assistance Program is also run out of this facility. We offer trap training classes, a feral cat food bank for managed colonies and an inventory of cat traps available for loan.

Volunteer Orientations

Our Companions offers New Volunteer Orientations once a month in our Manchester Program Center. During the one-hour orientation, you will learn more about Our Companions (our mission, philosophy, and programs), how you can get involved in various volunteer programs, and the types of training that are required for different positions.

Before attending a Volunteer Orientation you must submit a Vo lunteer Application form.
