Rudy was found as a stray in a rural area with very few houses close by. The people that found him felt that Rudy may have been dropped off outside as he was very thin, scared, and they could watch him on their outdoor home cameras walking around at night, seemingly not knowing where to go. The Good Samaritans did welcome him inside their home, but they already had many cats and could not care for him. Our Companions was contacted and we welcomed Rudy in October of 2023, estimated to be around 10 months old. Rudy is a very shy, nervous guy and will need lots of time to settle in. He’s been slowly getting more comfortable with his new environment, routine, and caregivers at our Sanctuary, particularly thanks to delicious Churu treats and fun toys! Slow and steady wins the race!
