Sabrina

Sabrina was found after she was sadly hit by a car and had to have her right eye surgically removed due to her injuries. After further investigation, it was discovered that her owners were deceased and there were no family members able to care for her. She was brought to the local municipal shelter after surgery, but given her recovery needs, Our Companions stepped in. We welcomed Sabrina to our Sanctuary in February of 2024, around the age of 10 years old.

Despite recovering from major surgery and being placed in a new space, Sabrina has been an absolute love bug! She loves affection and chin rubs and is starting to be a little playful with some volunteers. She’s been a bit wobbly acclimating to having vision only out of one eye, but she’s getting better each day. Still, that doesn’t stop her from playing with toys and getting close to her friends for pets. She’s such an easygoing cat, and her bloodwork lets us know she’s quite healthy too with no other needed medical care! With her sutures out, cone off, and her eye healing nicely, we look forward to finding a wonderful home for this wonderful kitty!
