Found in a community cat colony in New Haven, Sushi was very social and friendly to a local Yale police officer. The officer wanted to help Sushi since she seemed very social with people and was worried about her life living in the busy streets. She brought Sushi home, but was unable to keep her due to her resident cat. The officer contacted Our Companions and we welcomed Sushi to our Sanctuary in June of 2024 at the age of a year old. Though she hasn’t been with us for long, she has instantly become everyone’s best friend with how friendly, sweet, and lovable she is to everyone she meets! She still needs to be spayed, but adopters are already lining up to meet this wonderful girl!
